So, if the title of this post looks familiar, you’ve probably been reading Millennielle long enough to remember the first part of my Piperlime collaboration. For my second look with Piperlime, I put somewhat of a “biker” spin on this classic shirt and blouse combo, inspired by the waxy finish on the skirt. Happy Sunday!
A couple of you have mentioned that I do most of my giveaways on twitter and ignore TBGB’s facebook fans, well that’s changing today!
Today I’m happy to introduce an awesome dress designer from the UK,www.fatphrocks.com. Every spring I begin my search for maxi dresses that are long enough for me (I’m 5’10). This year I got a head start on that search and ended up with a stunning maxi from FatPhrocks.
My FatPhrocks maxi is beautiful, quality fabric, rich colors and best of all the dress is actually long on me, which is a big accomplishment and it has adjustable straps so I can get it to perfectly flatter the twins while maintaining the length that makes me feel super chic!
Best of all, these dresses are affordable! Sometimes I feel like being a tall plus size princess mean spending more money on clothes than the average PSP, but this brand is right in line with some of the everyday brands that I shop. Also, even though they’re in the UK I spoke with the owner this weekend and she said shipping these days is only a few dollars… hooray!

If you saw the latest runway shows in Paris last week you might think we'd time warped into the 70s. Chunky heels and platforms, funky shapes and colors, and clashes of pattens all over! Burn your bras and drop some acid. Well, no, don't do that.
But do check out these styles from Miu Miu...
And Prada of course
What do you think?? Groovy? I'm personally not digging them. I prefer the silhouettes shown last season with nods to the 50's and 60's. More feminine delicate shapes.
Though I will say that I'm glad to see more platforms on the runway again. New York fashion week would have you believe that the platform was dead with all the non-platformed shoes and pointy toe pumps. If you can get a little comfort snuck in with your killer style I'll take it! And we all know a platform is great for adding height without sacrificing comfort.
I'm off to China today kids. Then Tokyo for a quick 2 days. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and let you know what I see in one of my favorite cities in the world!
